Why do you have an event called Canwest each year?, I will attempt to answer this. Approximately three years ago Luke Mckay and I decided we wanted to have Red vs. Blue community event in Vancouver, we didn't want to travel all the way to other cities to have fun when we could do it locally. After the first successful event we noticed people were coming to canwest from other online communities, with the end of RVB:The blood gultch chronicles last year we were not sure what to do for this coming year, then it hit us! We had all traveled and have attended several events, conventions over the years such as the Penny Arcade expo, several anime conventions, and the San Diego Comic Con. we noticed one thing; we all went to these events to see our friends. That is what canwest is about, all the communities coming together to meet each other. One special thing that hasn't happened before is we have decided to take the money raised by this event and donate it to a charity called: Child's play. Childsplay |
